Theresa is a UNLV graduate with B. S. in Earth and Environmental Science, and a research assistant to the Hausrath Research Group. She is currently assisting Dr. Hausrath and Dr. Cycil in investigating extremophile algae for potential Mars-relevant research. Additionally, she has been assisting other members in the laboratory with clay syntheses creations. When not performing research, Theresa assists with laboratory maintenance by organizing and sterilizing equipment.
